Brescia Vs Inter Milan 1-1 Serie A- Frustrating Stalemate For ‘The Nerazurri’

A match which at first glance would look maybe even too easy for Inter Milan as they faced relegation spot team Brescia finalized in a stalemate that allows Ac.Milan to extend their lead in the Italian League.

Early on the match and Sneijder was trying to open the scoring with some long distance but powerful shots that only managed to go wide of the crossbar. Newest signing straight from Japan also caused trouble to the back line of Brescia with his runs in the left flank.

It would be the Cameroon striker Eto’o that broke the deadlock with a superb finish in the penalty box after receiving a pass from  Andrea Ranocchia and the Italian champions continued pressuring the opposition with their attack force.

Brescia tried to score but Leonardo’s squad barely even allowed possession to their opponents and so the first period ended with ‘The Nerazurri’ having a advantage of 1 goal.

Second period started and the match had a surprising turn of events as it was now Brescia that went all out for the attack seeking out the equalising goal which they finally found at the 85th minute after the substitute Ramon Ivan Cordoba made a disastrous pass and allowed Caraccciolo to even the match.

The Colombian defender Ramon Cordoba, just continued playing in a horrific way as now he conceded a penalty and was sent off the pitch upon getting a red card. But the Brazilian goalkeeper Julios Cesar, did a superb job and did not allow Brescia to score their second goal, thus ending 1-1.

Man Of The Match: Julio Cesar saved the penalty that allowed his side to get 1 point in the race for the Scudetto. Was not to blame for the only goal scored against them as it was a horrific mistake by Cordoba.
