Rumored to already have completed a transfer of around €18million in order for Manchester United to secure his services Phil Jones will be joining Sir. Alex Ferguson’s squad by the next season.

Liverpool was also interested in signing the young defender who is expected to be the successor of John Terry which is not an easy task to undertake.

Phil can also play as a defensive midfielder who can help free up space for Ferguson in the backline of ‘The Red Devils’ and give a breather for both Vidic and Ferdinand who have been flawless in the Premier League.

Also targeted by Manchester City, Tottenham and Arsenal but from the looks of it, its United that managed to tie him up. Jones has made a number of appearances for Blackburn ever since joining them back in 2010 and has been a crucial player for his club. Ferguson expects he will be a crucial player for his club aswell.
