Fabregas Signed With Barcelona!

After seasons in which the Catalan giants tried and continued their luck on signing Cecs Fabregas it has finally happened. Barcelona finally signed Fabregas with a transfer fee believed to be around €39 million from Arsenal as the transfer was completed on Monday.

Speaking at his unveiling at Camp Nou, Fabregas said: “I have waited many years for this moment to come. It is a very special day for me. I come back home after eight years, and this is the biggest challenge of my life, but I know that with your help, I will prevail.”

Both Puyol and Pique expressed just how happy they are to see their Spanish comrade join them and expecting all of them to play together under the guidance of Pep Guardiola.

This transer saga was one of the longest in the recent times as Guardiola initially attempted to sign Fabregas 3 seasons ago but unable to do so due to Arsene Wenger trying to keep him for as long as he could but the coach simply couldn’t stop Fabregas from making his dream a reality.
