Valencia Vs Chelsea 1-1- Champions League Highlights- Kalou’s Dreadful Mistake Changed Everything

Chelsea was unable to seal their victory over the Spanish side Valencia despite having  1 goal advantage scored by Frank Lampard in the 2nd half.

From the very start of the match it was clear that Valencia was having a hard time

fighting against the midfield of Andre Villas-Boas men. Lampard caused some

trouble with a free kick but it was later saved by Valencia’s goalkeeper Diego

Alves.

The 1rst half was gone in the blink of an eye as nothing much happened.

Diego Alves was the showman of the 2nd period with a number of brilliant saves

in order to deny Chelsea on getting ahead in the scoreboard as he denied

Fernando Torres and Ramires from scoring.

But the Spanish goalkeeper just couldn’t do much against Frank Lampard in the 56th minute when Malouda launched a

cross over to the midfielder and he slammed it into the net.

The remaining minutes of the match and now it was Petr Cech’s turn to show off his

skills as he single handledy was stopping Valencia from scoring but everything

changed when Kalou touched the ball with his hand and the referee did not

hesitate in allowing the penalty to be given which was taken by Soldado and he equalized the game.
