Arsenal Vs Chelsea 0-0- Premier League Highlights And Result- Goalless Stalemate At Emirates Stadium

A vital game for both sides as Arsenal needed all 3 points in order to secure their 3rd place spot of the Premier League while Chelsea on the other hand wanted to bounce back to the top places and more important than that is the fact that they have to play in the Champions League against Barcelona so a great performance today would inspire them for the upcoming match.

Chelsea was lacking that fast pace counterattack they had some days before and instead of even trying to take control of the ball, they just sat behind waiting for Arsenal to do their stuff. Di Matteo was hoping to implant a Italian style of play on his squad which seemed to be very effective not only against Barcelona but today as well with Arsenal struggling to score.

The visiting side relied on direct balls to Kalou and Fernando Torres was working hard in assisting his team whenever he could but they just lacked that spark and finishing needed to score any goals this evening.

The 2^nd half and everything changed as now it was Chelsea who took control of the pitch putting high pressure on Arsenal. Malouda created space on a number of occasions as he was attempting to score in the goalpost of Szczesny. The game did get intense with more and more yellow cards being handed to players until it finally ended without any goals being scored from either side.
