Chelsea has advanced into the finals of the Champions League following a 2-2 draw in Camp Nou which allows the Premier League team to win thanks to away goals. Fernando Torres was introduced at the 2nd half and he scored the last blow of the game.

Barcelona began playing with a 3-3-4 formation as he wanted to win this game and attacked with everything he got while Chelsea was very much doing the same thing they did in the 1rst leg relying mostly on counterattacks.

With 12 minute having passed by and Gary Cahill was sent off the game being later replaced by Jose Bosingwa. The hosts had control of the game much like their 1rst meeting some days ago but this time around and Valdes looked rather nervous.

Gerrard Pique also had to leave the pitch following a collision involving Drogba and Valdes. A long ball that was arriving into the penalty box and Valdes went out to collect it which he did but also crashed with his teammate Gerrard Pique and later with Drogba but the Ivorian did not get hit so hard as the Spanish defender did. Daniel Alves replaced Pique, with the former Manchester United player being sent to a hospital.

The 1rst goal arrived at the 26th minute when Isaac Cuenca ran down his left flank and instead of trying to take a shot he cutted into the players in front of goal and luckily for Busquets he was at the right place in the right time as he only had to tap the ball into the net.

Chelsea was later gifted with a straight red card after Frank Lampard kneeled Sanchez from the back and the replays did show that it was on purpose but the Englishman barely even touch Sanchez who fell to the floor until the red card was shown and he later played as normally.

Andres Iniesta was the next to find the net as Barcelona was taking full advantage of their numerical advantage and Lionel Messi found Iniesta with just enough space for him to tuck the ball behind Petr Cech.

The visitors later managed to slip 1 goal in Camp Nou in added time when Lampard slipped a deep pass over to the rushing Ramires who chipped an absolutely perfect ball past the fingertips of Valdes and into the net just before ending the 1rst half.

3 minutes into the 2nd half and Barcelona was handed a free penalty when Fabregas dived in the penalty box of Chelsea and Messi was the man to take the chance on putting his team in the lead but the Argentinean boy wonder missed the spot kick.

Guardiola’s men were going all out in the attack and this was evidenced by Puyol who was playing in the own half of Chelsea leaving only Mascherano to defend. Barcelona just couldn’t score that vital goal that would edge them a victory into the finals and their lack of defending was capitalized by Chelsea as Ashley Cole cleared the ball away from danger which landed into the substitute Fernando Torres who was left completely alone and unmarked in the midfield and the Spanish forward ran past the outgoing Valdes that couldn’t reach the ball and finally Torres scoring with a completely empty net.
