Chelsea thrashed Queens Park Rangers in Stamford Bridge with an outstanding 6 goals being scored in the net of Paddy Kenny and 3 of those were netted in by the Spaniard Fernando Torres as he is slowly rediscovering his form in the blue jersey.
The goals arrived from the 1rst minute as Daniel Sturridge received a pass from Ashley Cole down the left flank and the young striker tried to slip a deep pass to his teammates but it was deflected off the legs of Anton Ferdinand so he rounded off the defender to create space for him to slam it into the net.
Pressure continued on being placed into the opposition until they were rewarded at the 13th minute when Juan Mata launched a corner into the own half of QPR and John Terry rose higher to the ball than anyone else and the English defender headed it home.
19 minutes into the game and Chelsea had already scored 3 goals past Paddy Kenny who just couldn’t stop the good form of ‘The Blues’. Salomon Kalou was on his right wing and he slipped a absolute perfect pass to the rushing Fernando Torres and he rounded off Kenny just before tapping it into an empty net, much like the same way he did some days ago against Barcelona in the Champions League.
Fernando Torres scored the 4th goal of the encounter and his own 2nd due to a disastrous mistake of QPR’s goalkeeper Paddy Kenny when the defender Nedum Onouha headed the ball back to his goalkeeper but Kenny failed to take hold of it and instead gave away a rebound to Fernando Torres who collected the ball and fired the ball into the top corner of the net.
2nd half wasn’t filled with so many goals as the initial section of the game. Chelsea would have wait until the 19th minute of this half in order to score their next goal which arrived when Juan Mata played a deep ball to Torres and the Spaniard met with the ball before slipping it just barely away from Kenny as he scored the 5th goal of the encounter.
The substitute Malouda netted in the last goal of Chelsea at the 79th minute and Cisse salvaged 1 goal from his side until it finally came to an end with the scoreboard displaying 6-1.
