Athletic Bilbao Vs Real Madrid 0-3- La Liga Highlights And Result- Real Madrid Clinch Their 32nd La Liga Title!

Real Madrid clinched their 32^nd La Liga title after a 4 year spell of unsuccess with a 3-0 victory over Athletic Bilbao in San Mames.

The match was pretty fast paced as Madrid went with everything on the attack from the very 1rst minutes of the game and they were gifted with an early penalty which was taken by C.Ronaldo but the Portuguese made a horrible mistake as he just tapped the ball into the exact spot where the goalkeeper Iraizoz was.

Despite the failed penalty strike of C.Ronaldo, they still managed to keep on going for the attack and they were rewarded with a quick counterattack that involved Khedira, Ronaldo and Ozil making a combination in order to score their 1rst goal which finally ended up with Gonzalo Higuain having more than enough space to tuck it into the top right hand corner of the net.

Mourinho’s side found the net only 4 minutes later when the former Liverpool player Xabi Alonso slipped a deep but accurate pass to C.Ronaldo who was walking down the right wing and no one marking him which allowed him to slip the ball across the penalty box of Bilbao with Ozil easily tapping it and scoring the 2^nd of the evening.

Gonzalo Higuain created a moment of brilliance following the restart of the game and he got past 4 Athletic Bilbao defenders but the Argentinean’s shot only later managed to get deflected to a corner kick. The resulting corner was launched by Alonso and C.Ronaldo jumped to head it past the likes of Iraizoz.

It finally finished with the pitch seeing Real Madrid fans jumping and just happy to see their team winning a title they failed to clinch for 4 years. Jose Mourinho being lifted up and down by his players and everyone just smiling following a tough season.
