Arsenal Transfer News: Podolski Joining Arsenal At The End Of Season

Lukas Podolski will be joining the English outfit Arsenal at the end of this current season after reports confirmed the transfer to be completed successfully. The 26 years old forward was excited to join the Premier League club as he spoke in a press conference.

“Arsenal is a huge football club and the objective must be to win titles in the coming years,” Podolski said at a press conference.

“I could have either continued at Koln or gone back to a top club. I had other offers but for me it was clear that I’d go to Arsenal. They have a great coach, a great stadium and great fans.”

Podolski was struggling on having any playing time in Bayern Munich as he was overlooked by their coach and instead picking Miroslav Klose or Luca Toni.

“I was perhaps a bit too young when I was there. I’m more mature now and trust myself to make this step,” he said.

It has been suggested that Arsenal signed the German forward for around €14 million and he will officially join the club at the end of this season playing for 4 years or at least those were the terms written in the contract.
