Manchester City Transfer Rumors: Ac.Milan And City In Talks Concerning Edin Dzeko

Published on July 9, 2012 by   ·   No Comments

The head chiefs of Ac.Milan and Manchester City are rumored to have met in the past couple of days with Edin Dzeko being the main topic of discussion between the 2 parties. The Bosnian international was snatched up by Manchester City on a €32 million transfer deal from Wolfsburg at the start of 2011 but so far he still has not made a real impact in the club which has left him being more of a bench warmer than anything else.

Offloading some of their bigger wages players is just what Manchester City have in mind and indeed are in need of doing taking into consideration that they are interested in signing the Dutch forward Robin Van Persie who did not extend his current contract with Arsenal and will be leaving soon enough.

Although however Adriano Galliani did say that Ac.Milan will not be making any more signings on this transfer window as they already snapped up Acerbi and Montolivo but the CEO of Ac.Milan might just make another last minute move for another player as he did last season when he brough in Ibrahimovic and Robinho just before the final deadline was over.

Ac.Milan has always been interested in acquiring the services of Dzeko even before Manchester City but they fell behind in the race and allowed the Premier League club on signing him. So this just might be the chance the Italians have been waiting for if they really have desire on snapping up the Bosnian forward.
