Tottenham Hotspur Transfer News: Hugo Lloris A Top Target Of Andre Villas-Boas

Tottenham Hotspurs will be challenging the English clubs of the Premier League with Andre Villas-Boas at the head of it all and their main playmaker the Croatian midfielder Modric being signed by Real Madrid. The former coach of Chelsea is already making plans for his new club with Hugo Lloris a top target for the tactician.

Spurs already had an offer rejected as they made their 1rst official bid for the French goalkeeper some days ago of £12m but Lyon are not allowing him to leave unless an increased offer is made. However the chairman of Hotspur said they cannot offer the exact amount Lyon wants but is hopeful that a deal can be made somehow without having to give the offering price.

Jean-Michel Aulas, the Lyon president, revealed earlier this month that Lloris could leave the Stade Gerland this summer.

“Lloris told me that he would like to leave if he has an opportunity to play for one of the five biggest European sides,” Aulas told his club’s official website last week.

“If any of these teams make an offer meeting his market value, €20m, he will be allowed to leave.

“For now, though, I have not received any offers, neither from Arsenal nor from elsewhere.”
